Built in 1902 as a six-story concrete industrial building with a poured-in-place facade, KBA was given the commission for the adaptive reuse of the building as a 117-unit residential development.  The complexity of converting the 113,000 SF building arose out of its existing site limitations, close column spacing, and unique "E"-configured plan.
